Joining ARSGO
Do I need experience to join?
It depends on the programme. You can join the Schools Programme or the Director-Led Acting Workshop as a complete beginner, and the workshop is open to anyone aged 18 or over. The Artist Development Lab is for you when you have some experience and are ready to commit to a multi-month process. If you are unsure, get in touch and we will help you choose.
Where are your sessions held?
Our programmes run in person across London, as well as online, making them accessible wherever you are in the UK.
How much does it cost?
The Director-Led Acting Workshop is fully funded thanks to ARSGO's mission to remove financial barriers. Any paid programme will always show its price clearly before you sign up.
How do I apply?
Choose your programme, click sign-up and complete the short form. We will then contact you with dates and next steps.
The Director-Led Acting Workshop
Do I need acting experience?
No. The workshop is designed to welcome actors at different stages.
Who can attend?
Anyone aged 18 or over.
Why is the workshop fully funded?
ARSGO covers the cost as part of our mission to remove financial barriers to acting training and industry access.
When is it?
Thursday 1 October 2026 at Poplar Union, London. Doors open at 2:00pm and the workshop runs from 2:15pm to 5:00pm.
How many places are available?
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis, so we recommend signing up as soon as you can.
How do I register?
Registration for the 1 October workshop has now closed. You can sign up for our 5 November panel event or the 24 November workshop from the workshop page.
